Lifelong learning, international collaboration and political insight
I work to expand education systems into lifelong learning systems responsive to change, connected across sectors and aligned with local priorities as well as international frameworks.
LLLGI is the platform I use to share this work: research, strategic advice and international collaboration around the world.
About me
I'm a British former schoolteacher with experience supporting education reform and collaboration across Africa, Asia and Europe. Over the past decade, I’ve worked with international organisations and national teams to improve how education connects with work, community and personal development throughout life.
Alongside this professional experience, I am conducting doctoral research on the history and politics of international involvement in education, exploring how global actors have shaped national systems over time and how those dynamics are negotiated.
Who I work with
I support a wide range of actors in education and training who are engaging with international ideas, networks or frameworks, or looking to do so more effectively. This includes:
Leaders of local institutions and NGOs seeking to connect with peers or development partners beyond their borders
City officials aiming to strengthen decentralised education systems and reach specific community groups more effectively
National policymakers working to bring greater coherence and flexibility to lifelong learning systems in line with national and global development priorities
Whether the goal is to shape local strategies, contribute to international dialogues or coordinate external involvement, I help make those efforts more informed, context-aware and aligned with long-term objectives.
